What would you change about your current John Deere tractor?

For my 3720:

Wider steer tires for better floatation

Fuel gauge that actually works and allows me to use more than 6 gallons before warning me that I am low.

Aux light switch separate from main

E Throttle like the 4000-20's have

Direct drive road gear

Better (easier) park brake release button operation.

There is nothing that I would change with my current JD tractor. It does everything I expect from it.

I hope you would get one that works, mine doesn't due to the infamous Error 8 Syndrome. Doesn't bother me due to the nature of the work I do with this machine (commercial snow removal) but I can see why it would be quite annoying in the field.

Forgot to mention, the only major design flaw I found with my 4720 is the fact that it's not possible to turn off the headlights while keeping the front work lights on. This is especially annoying when the machine is used for snow clearing and carries large front implements. Headlight glare on said implements, especially yellow ones, is quite a nuisance. The obvious workaround is to disconnect the headlights but this is not an option in my state where legislation requires that vehicles used for commercial snow removal have working headlights regardless of the presence of work lights. Last winter I was served a warning for driving on a public road with only work lights and flashers on. A switch to turn off headlights while working would be very useful.

I would move the loader lock somewhere else (my knee always hits it),I would make real rear scvs not divertered, telescoping draft links standard, cat 1 & 2, make front axels not leak, make the pin that holds on the draft links to the tractor a lot stronger (Ive broke dozens), a tool box in steps, steering wheel not squeak, make it not drip antifreeze, better sound system, a/c air in take not at back of tractor (gets real dirty real fast), make loader stronger, more lights like belt line maybe and some more in rear, offer tinted windows, 3 pt lift linkage electric over hydraulic (easier to push/pull and then you can make it automated for laser leveling),just call me i spend 8 to 12 hrs a day in mine.

I have the EH hitch on my 5425 and I can't lower it with the engine shut off. It is annoying to get out of the cab after parking it, then realize I forgot to lower the implement to the ground. I have to get back in and start the engine again just to lower the hitch.

I like the toolbox in the step, at least it would be on the side I get in and out.

Articulated wipers that would clear more glass area

That's easy... a factory cab, a factory cab, a factory cab for the JD 110.
