What would you change if you were the one behind the design of your tractor? There are a lot of simple things that i can think about but i can say that i wish my YM169D had a 3rd range in the tranny, a reverser and a little bigger engine.

Over build them like they used to do. Kind of new old iron.

I wish my manual tranny had synchros. I have to shift it just right to avoid grinding. And a bit more power in the bucket would be nice too, but not necessary.

I'll name a few:

3 range tranny,
Faster speed in high range,
3-point that is easier to install after removing BH.

and a bunch of little things...for example: The pin that secures the FEL parking stand is a real pain to remove...

Shorten the distance from the bucket hinge pin to the front axle by 15+%. This would make the tractor/loader more compact. The tractor would be easier to maneuver in tight areas like indoors or in the woods. Also the lift capacity would increase without changing the load/moment:confused2: on the front axle.

R-1 tires for the 3540 that are proportional in size to the tractor. 11.2 rears/7.2 fronts are the correct size for a 25hp., not 35hp.

Separate the 3pt hitch and the MMM so one can work without the other moving also.

Insulated cup holder that allows my drink to stay vertical regardless of the angle the tractor is at.

More lift capacity with the FEL and better digging force with the BH.

Tilt Wheel

3-point hitch that does not have to be removed when the sub-frame BH is on.

Our tractor already has 3 range tranny.
