Tractor
TC24DA
The dealer dropped off my TC24DA With the FEL and no 60"MMM, He said It would be a week or two before the brackets for the mower would be in. Now I do know that the dealer does have the brackets and mower inside of there shop. Yes I know its the middle of winter here in Wis, BUt wouldnt you like to know that everything has been delievered?
The second Part to this is what concerns me the most. At the time of delieverey I signed all the loan papers. This was on 11-24-04. And 2 weeks latter i recieved a call from the dealer that he forgot one form, So I went there to sign it. Now by this time its 4 weeks after recieving the tractor. I should be paying my 1st payment. No payment book and or bill has showed, So I take a trip down to the dealer to ask whats going on, They inform me that they messed up the paper work and need to remake it out and I'll need to resign them again. At this time I asked the dealer is this going to screw up my zero percent finacning, Thye say no... SO its been 3 weeks again and after 2 more trips to the dealer they still dont have the paper work done and no payment book or bill yet.
Looks like Im goiong to be 2 payments behined and I still hav'nt recieved a bill. I dont like it one bit that I'll be paying my bills past due. This loan was done though newhallands zero percent finacing for 48 months as long as the tractor and paper work was done before the end of the november time frame.
I'm to the point that concerns me about the dealer and the loan. What would you do to resolve this????

Bob,

Do you have copies of the original loan papers and bill of sale? When I did my o% loan on my DX33 the dealer printed out my first payment. I paid it. The next month I had not received a payment book or a bill. I called CASE/NH to see what the problem was and lo and behold I was a month ahead already....amazing!

As long as you have signed copies of the documents you should be fine as it would be the dealers mistake and NH should honor the agreement.

I think I would be possibly writing a certified letter to both your dealer and New Holland Credit. At least you have something on file as to what is going on. There may not be a problem but I do remember when I purchased my tractor I was on the no interest no payments for a year. But I got notice of it within 6 days of recieving my tractor.

So drop a letter certified, don't worry much and have fun with your new tractor.

You should call New Holland or have the dealer call them.
We bought our New Holland in July 2004.I still have not recieved the payment book.We had to wait 2 months for the tractor and FEL.(The FEL manufactureing division was behind on orders) First note was due prior to delivery.Dealer contacted New Holland and was given address and account # for us to mail the notes. They advised would be counted as late payment if not payed on time even though we did`nt have payment book. We`ve requested a payment book with each payment since first note due in August 04.Have also called and was told working on getting the booklet to us. Wonder if will ever recieve one. They have recieved all of the notes so far.

I write the letter and also establish a friendly relationship with the bank by phone. You want avoid lawyers and credit issues.

When I bought my Cub several years ago , it was 36mo. @ 0%. The dealer cautioned me about staying "current" with the payments or the company could roll the loan into the 15 or 18% that alot of CC companies have. After reading all the paper work with the deal, I got the same impression as well.
In your case , having all the original papers you should be ok but I'd still call NH.
I've never had a problem but I've never been late.

Delivery on my JD 2210 was pretty quick, I think it took the dealer 4 or 5 days to put the machine in my driveway. It took JD Credit one more day before the payment book arrived in the mail. Seemed very fast.

Call New Holland. Go around the dealer and mention your concerns to NH and make sure they know whats going on. In any future case you need documentation so I'd start writing things down in case you need them.
