What year/model is JD 410 Backhoe

My neighbour has a John Deere backhoe that the decals say is a model 410. The tag on the frame above the right front axle has serial number: 410D 37598T. We would like to know the production year and the model, is it a 410 or 410D. I found on the 'net how to get the year from a 13 digit serial number, but this serial number doesn't have the 13 digits.

The original 410 had a steel roof, made until maybe 1983. The 410D has a fiberglass roof, made maybe 1992 to 1998 or so.
