Old barbed wire. Grrr. In the past the rule was, If you can’t burn or bury it then shove it into the edge of the woods.

Still done out here.... been tangled in my fair share walking field edges on public land. Also found plenty on my land over the years, I'm sure there is more waiting in ambush.
