That's a tough one. There's a fellow (Muhammad...) who toils quietly in the background making this thing work. Why the equipment manufacturers aren't tripping over themselves to get a link on these pages is beyond me. Woods? Landpride? Bradco? Dealers, etc etc etc?
His efforts go largely unrewarded and probably unthanked. This board could disappear in a second, leaving us all with nothing to do but sit on a rock and mumble to ourselves. Drop him a note now and then. (This ones mine!) Or post a comment. This isn't Yahoo we're dealing with here with 20,000 faceless uncontactable employees.
One of the coolest things about this sites construction? He's designed it so that no GOOF (me) is able to DOUBLE POST comments, it won't let you!
If you click around on this site you'll find all kinds of things you didn't know were there.
I would also like to again thank all of you. The civility of this board is outstanding. In addition to my big toys, I'm still thinking of a 38" mower, leaning towards a baby JD. Spent some time reading a lawn and garden forum. Geez those guys don't pull any punches and will shred you in no uncertain terms at times. Somehow we've avoided that. I'm sure there are people who stop by here and don't understand our "color" bantering back and forth, mine versus yours etc. We do it in the spirit of friendship, at least it appears that way to me. I'm sure there's a whole bunch of guys and gals that would LIKE to have a tractor, ANY tractor, ANY color and probably can't wonder what we have to argue about.
If I came across an excavator board and they were all kidding each other about the color of their units I'd wonder too (except I know we're just having fun with each other).
Speaking of colors, we have the dull Blue Orange Green, have you ever seen what the Japanese excavators are painted? Every color you can imagine, lavender, aqua, purple, yellow the whole rainbow. I'll have to get out my crayon box and label each crayon with a brand name if I want to talk to THOSE GUYS!
June's here, time to stop jawin' and get to workin'
