I am out of the loop some, are they still going to produce tractors for other like Montana, to sell or are they going to go out with just their own name?

I've sold hundreds of them and they are excellent quality. Great specs, lots of standard features and I have people who have thousands of hours on them now and going strong. I think the big thing is that they need to be priced right and not just be "competitive". They need to beat the competition by a margin significant enough to make the customer willing to take it over JD, Kubota and NH. Being competitive is not enough they have to beat them.

I love the LS product but they will be now essentially starting off new and that is hard enough in good economic times. During these tuff times in my opinion they will need to offer excellent products
(they do), be able to convince people they are here to stay(they can) and have the best pricing
(we will see).

Curios, so maybe someone knows? Now that we are hearing that Montana and Branson are teaming up,will that cut LS out of building tractors for them? I would think so,but not sure, also I believe it may make it harder to get parts for us farmtrac owners, both FT dealers in my area had to close their doors therefore no local parts supply, there is one dealer about an hour and a half away who has been super to deal with I was just hoping for something more local. Is LS trying to recruit dealers to sell tractors under the LS brand or did this Montana and Branson thing put LS in a bind? I know these are a lot of questions but this seems to be my only source of info, so thanks in advance for any info.

didn't escort build alot of the fermtracs if so the ls-montana split should not effect the farmtracs, remember the montana branded farmtracs are to be supported by montana which may open up a source for older farmtrac parts.

Shakin, my FT is an LS made tractor which I bought from a FT dealer, later on FT went bellyup and that left me with no warranty, so Montana buying FT did'nt really do me any good as they dont warranty the FT'S that were sold before they bought what was left of FT. Dont get me wrong I don't expect any warranty or service from Montana because they did'nt create this mess. On a positive note my tractor has been very good , one clutch return spring broke and cap on coolant resevoir cracked both minor issues, I am just looking down the road at parts availability.

The LS web site should be up a running in a week. Look for many surprizes from them in the near future. Their dealer network wiill be great. , I look forward to selling the new LS tractors. I thank them for coming to this country to support the quality products that they have built in the past and well into the future. The wonderful customer base that have supported them in the past know a quality built product. Thanks again

You hinted around and I take what your saying to mean maybe parts for LS made farmtracs?maybe some service for LS made farmtracs? Don't know how to take the suprise statement, I am speaking strictly for myself but I have had enough suprises out of farmtrac over the past year and a half, sounds like you are going to be a dealer, how many signed up so far? Like I said this seems to be my only source of info, I don't know if there are any other FT owners that are even interested in any of this but I love my tractor and would hate to buy something else but every other brand has a dealer around here and that is very appealing as a consumer.:D

LS will support LS made farmtracs with parts and service. I cannot answer your question on the number of dealers signing up. It does take time to set up a new company in the states.
Farmtrac owners and dealers have been threw to much, and I do feel badly for what customers have gone through.( Being the owner of a 530 myself), LS will help you out!

Thanks
