Wax I used was :

All Purpose Polish

# ty16169

Has a JD logo on it.

I use a furniture polish from Wal-Mart called Kleen Guard, it only cost 97 cents a can and does a great job on plastics too. Once a year or so I put a good coat of wax on, but I can clean up the tractor and mowers in less than five minutes with the spay can after each use.

Well, I'll be a son-of-a-gun. I just used my wife's Citrus Pledge on the New Holland, and the thing hasn't looked that good since the day I picked it up. Took off the hard water spots left over from the pressure washer and everything. I think I'll try it on the ATV's next... /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

100% correct. there is nothing wrong with cleaning and taking care of your expensive equiptment. as the old saying goes an old tractor that is clean is better than a new tractor that is dirty. ( I JUST MADE THAT UP /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif) BUT YOU GET THE IDEA

I am sure glad to know that I am not the only tractor owner wax and polish tractors. Now I need to go get some liquid glass, Honda Polish....Lemon Pledge......
