This is a good document. The one thing I am not seeing (unless I missed it) is how does a roller pump mount to the sprayer frame? I am assuming, for example, if I purchase a 55 gallon sprayer from Ag Supply and the recommended roller pump and coupler I still need to buy a PTO shaft fit to length and what else. Is there a bracket that I need to mount the roller pump inline of the of the PTO shaft just like any other PTO driven implement? Should the frame of the spray be pre-drilled with hole or should I expect to have to drill holes for the pump mounting?

For example: 55 GAL 3PT. SPRAYER - Agri Supply

You don't you put the pump on your PTO Shaft...:D

I understand that. In fact I linked this a few threads earlier. I more concered with bracket the pump mounts too. Can it be chained to anything solid such as the top link. I don't know about you but I don't have a draw bar on my tractor as show in the picture and don't plan on installing one just for a sprayer. Any "real" pictures of an install?

I have the luxury of a Farmall 460 with the said drawbar...:D
It's not as easy, but you can hook it to the frame where your drawbar should come out from under the tractor...that is the way I hook it when I run the sprayer off my JD855...:)

Sorry no pics...:(

I have a draw bar but not a three pt. hitch type. At any rate I think I am going to go with the a 12volt powered pump. Seems less cumbersome . . .

Thanks so much! That was what I was looking for. Two questions . . .

Is the angle iron or light channel bolt or mounted to the tractor frame or just setting flush against the frame? It looks like the height of the PTO shaft vs. were your angle iron sets is near perfect. Did you need to add some spacers?

It looks like you chained the spring to you ROPS, is that correct?

I'll probably use (if I go this route) this unit out of ease and I am trying to determine where to bolt it.
