We used to take a pack of Swishers with us when we went fishing... to keep the mosquitos away.

When I first read the post, I read FLAT cigar, and I'm thinking WTH?

Ask the expert maybe. Juliani. He was pushing cigars on his videos. Seems kind of something I wouldn't advertise. Fits a certain sterotype.

White Owl and Phillies are the worst, if not the cheapest. I smoke backwoods between corn-silk, banana peels, and fatties.

Cigs don't make a lot of smoke & are no longer cheap, but you get 20/pack and they stay lit.

Hostility, where you get idea like dat? Cajun got no time fer hostile, got music to listen and girls to watch. We just take hostiles for walk to swamp to pick out alligator fer new shoes. Aussie be easy, dey from very DRY place. Dey even got silly looking music place.

Cuisine what we convince tourists worth extra money to eat. Put fat guy in silly costume and 6 wimmen wid attitude in a shack wid stove and tourist beat door down to eat garbage der. Don't take no reservations, dey stand out gettin eat by bugs dey so happy for seat dey throw money. Baby sister became very rich woman wid genuine Cajun bakerys. Don't let counter girls talk no english, looks like deaf sign language convention all de pointing & finger waving.

There was a cajun inspired song/video by a popular male singer in the 90s, talked about his hound dog and featured a pretty woman in overalls, and air boat (whatever they are called) . I can't for the life of me find it or the name of it. I'd like to see the video again.

I learn something new every time that I visit the site. Testing for leaks... somebody finally came up with a good use for a cigar!

A lot of my coworkers use them to keep blackflies away... I wear a head net instead.

Thanks to everyone for the entertaining responses and helpful suggestions. I think I have the names of enough cheap fat cigars that I should be able to find one to suit my needs.

When I read your reference to a convict ship, a person I knew in another group came to mind. He was very a insulting braggart and I'd often had to restrain myself from letting him hold it. There are people like him everywhere but, this one happened to reside in Western Australia. Finally, he offended the wrong person and that guy unloaded on him with both barrels, he insulted him and his ancestors both male and female to the point that even I thought he'd gone too far. Several people came to the braggart's defense nobody more than my old "Coon A" buddy who happened to be in the same group.

Apparently only rich people smoke fat cigars these days. If anyone knows of any cheap ones please give me their names. I already have most of the apparatus needed to make the smoker.

I can suggest Swisher Sweets Blunts. They produce a good amount of smoke and cost something like $4 for a package of 6.
