It's just too bad we can't figure out how to start a tractor in 0* weather...
We had an AC with a block heater that always started. Now I have a Kubota with glow plugs, and enhance the cetane of winter fuel. It starts as long as the battery is charged.

True!!! I hadn't thought about that... Naming every storm, ridiculous. Everything today has to be an "Event"...
I agree that everything has to be an EVENT. It is because people demand to be entertained 24/7. They are not happy with a simple weather forecast or news that is just factual happenings, the desire to be entertained demands MORE. So then we get cute names for storms and added commentary from the weather person. When you filter out the ads and opinions, there is not much left.

I found two in the wall of a remodel project... my brother was about to crush and I said I want it.

Remember, it's the water slogan.

The old and replacement brewery buildings sit vacant and target for vandals to this day...

Lots of good jobs lost when shut down.
Didn't know they'd gone OOB, then again I haven't been in the PNW in probably 45 years. Took the tour there while I was living in the area ~'75-76.
Does Washington still limit beer alcohol content to 3.2%? They did while I was there.

No, and Oregon doesn't either.

When I retired I especially lean to 30 packs. Most cost efficient. Minimizes trips to town. Perfect. :)
I buy 12 pack bottles of what ever I'm in the mood for. But then a 12 pack will last me months

I like trying local micro brews while traveling and on vacation, or when we go out to eat. But it's just one with dinner.

I'll load up on the good ones I come across and bring them home with me.

At the house, I rarely drink. I'm a social drinker. So if someone ain't drinking with me, I'll have tea or water instead.

I keep beer in the fridge for that occasional hankering for one. Or when we have friends or the kids over for dinner. Plus occasionally you come across a recipe that calls for beer

Only Busch Lite? Why do you prefer it to Budweiser, Miller Lite or even Miller High Life?
Budweiser and it's sisters has something in the formula that my body can't handle. If I drink bud, bud light, or select, even just one, ill wake up the next day and feel like I have a double ear infection.

Everything that I cook calls for beer.
Oh, do you mean IN the recipe? :p
I used to drink cheap stuff and lots of it. Since I've cut back I enjoy a premium beer or two. My favorite is Sam Adams... regular. I don't understand why anybody would make a good beer, then ruin it with orange peels or nutmeg. Bleahhho_O

BevMo has quite an assortment in this area…

I stock up when company expected… Molson for my Canadian friends and Stigl for my Austrian friends…

Nothing says welcome like a cold one from home…

I remember those. Back when we were young and ignorant, they were the perfect size for throwing at signs while riding around drinking.
And easier to hide if pulled over, and underage to boot. if under 18.

True, not cost effective. ‘‘Twas a fad. Young & dumb. Amazing we survived.

Actually I've tried a couple fall seasonals that featured pumpkin spice. They were actually pretty tasty.

I'll try just about any beer once. Twice if it's good. I'm not a fan of bitters though.
