While we post our forks, grapples, etc. I have come to absolutely love a cheap tool I made and thought you guys probably have something you've made or bought for very little that you find really useful.

So here's mine. It's a t-post puller. I used it yesterday to pull some rebar pin 3' long out of the ground, then to wrap around some long metel to drag it.
I pick up things with it since it has a hole I can put the chain back thru.
Oh yeah, it pulls t-posts and 4x4 post like nobodys bussiness as well. :) I use it ALOT.

Best buy under $50, that has to be the 8' cultipacker I bought at a farm auction several years ago for $10. I was the opening and only bid.

I like my cheapo lifting tongs I built from an old truck spring U-bolt and some scrap angle and chain and a used bolt and nut. Total cost - about $1 in welding rods.

I like it! What all do you use it for?

Around here, it's very hard to find tools for under $50. The only thing I have so far that cost under $50 is my 20' 5/16" chain. Got it for $18, and practically cleared my 10 acres with it.

I'd not considered it. But now.. :)

It is mighty useful!

I'm not joking. If it's not already patented......it's simple and efficent enough you could make some money. One of these days somebody is going to buy one of those off the web and say, "now why didn't I think of that?".
