Whats you tax rate at your residence?

I'm in the same state and county as Moss. The "circuit breaker" that capped the rate is having some big consequences. Property tax is finding for education as well.

In the past the assessed value was way lower than market value. Now you have to keep your eye on your assessed value. They jack it up to raise more tax money.

Move to the west side of south bend... that won't happen.... :laughing:

Here in Northern VA we pay about $1.16/100 or $11.60/1000. My family is from CT and they pay about $30-$40/1000. It's disgusting.

Very interesting results I must say. IIRC, here in Co, the county doesn't use appraisals. They do their own valuation for the assessment. This year my taxes are at $1251 a year.

My tax rate at 2.9% is better that then 8.5% at our last house that was in city limits. It's very nice when making a larger purchase like a vehicle or such. I am very thankful that they don't use appraisals due to our over inflated economy in the state right now. Unfortunately CO has drawn way too many undesirables due to our weed laws.
