OK, you guys got me thinking again. (my wife thinks that's always real dangerous) Along with my dream Kubota 3410, I'd have to keep my B7100 just because I like it. For "light mowing" around the house and such, I'd probably get a new JD 345 with a 54" deck. I think their L&G tractors in that size range are just about perfect. For really serious digging and moving dirt, just in case I wanted to, NH makes a TLB, 665 series I think, that would be about right....around 100 hp. Of course, it would have to have a full glass cab with A/C, CD-tape player, at least 3 different hoe buckets, a 28 ft. h.d. two axle trailer to haul it around, and a full size Chalkley Cup. If I got into a situation I couldn't handle with the 665 TLB, I guess I'd break down and rent a dozer.

As for dream rigs, I think I've pretty much got mine already, too. Except that I'd like to have more hydraulic flow, like the L48; higher FEL lift, like the L48; greater bucket breakout force, like the L48; four wheel suspension, like the larger Fendts; combination hydrostatic/planetary Vario transmission, like the larger Fendts; um, that's all the time I have to list stuff, for now.

How does that compare to a Case 580L? My Sister drives a Case 580-L, and I like them, but don't know how they compare to our Kubota's. 'course, I guess they are kinda big compared to my 19hp B8200HST /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif

Your mention of lite mowing reminded me... I would add a mid-50's Farmall Cub, or maybe A JD "L" to my list, with a belly mower for light mowing...

Well since I live in the northeast and there 2 seasons of weather, /w3tcompact/icons/laugh.gifThe summer months good protection from the moquitoes etc.. and in the bone chilling winter a heater that blows 65 or so degree air into a comfortable cab.

A tractor with one lever for all types of controls,except backhoe and FEL.

Dash that wraps around the operator so one does't have to reach,but easy enough to exit.

Some kind of traction so one never ever gets stuck!!

Reasonable price in which everyone could afford.

Maybe some day the tractors will be remote control...yikes /w3tcompact/icons/crazy.gif just have to wait and see.

You've seen my head to head comparisons and you know that Kubota can't match up to the New Holland TC18! The TC18 is rated superior to even the B2410 in many areas! /w3tcompact/icons/cool.gif
