McDonald's has the worst hand dryers in my experience. Very few of them have upgraded from the old ones that blow about like a hair drier on low. If that's the case I rarely wash my hands. If it do I use my pants to dry them.

I really enjoy the fact that Tractor By Net discourages political commentary. It is so nice to go somewhere where there isn't a culture war going on.
In that vein I will keep my comment brief, I support Home Depot above all others based on their corporate positions on social equality issues.

Seriously? You say: "I like that TBN isn't political but here let me make a political comment." lol.

Not so much your post but when someone makes an overtly rude statement bashing (usually) one of our presidential candidates; I've decided it's like walking into a crowded room and farting- very rarely funny and usually rude and awkward. (I didn't always feel this way but TBN has changed my mind).

Again, I'm not talking about you Rox, just a tangential rant. :drink:

Rox gets the most out of this site from political statements to promotion. He used tractors in the background of a picture of food to promote his olive oil business. That's genius.

Then promotes $25 a bottle oil you can get at Aldis for $4. Whatever gets the job done, I guess..

Menards, hands down! ...

My other complaint about Menards is their hand-dryers in the men's room. They have the ones that only put out a light breeze and provide no paper towels as an alternative! If they're not going to have paper towels, the least they could do is install those "jet dryers". LOL!

Real men drip dry. I have to survey the urinals when I walk in so I can find the one with interesting ads.

Never been in a bathroom at any store that I can remember. I'm only 68 and don't have ' problems ' .... I have a designated P tree next to my pole barn, though.... :)
Way to go.........

For me it is Menard's - I usually find the best service and selection as well as the lowest prices. Where I am at I am 25-30 miles from four Menard's stores in all different directions. I have two HDs closer and one Lowe's but I still usually go to Menard's. I do like Behr paint at HD though.

I have a couple of regional lumberyards closer but they are so limited and one is a real pain to deal with.

Builder's Square was a part of Kmart and they were managed the same way and all closed up about the same time. They were junk.

One store I really liked but it closed a few years ago was Contractor's Warehouse because they had a drivethrough lumberyard that was under roof where you loaded before you paid. Then you could pick out the lumber you wanted and if it wasn't satisfactory you were not already committed - not that I ever had that problem there like I have at Menard's. CW had kind of a limited selection and were not into the onesies, i.e. they stocked bulk packs, but the prices were good and they were quick in and out of.

1. Lowes - though my kids hate it.. told me too many bad childhood memories going with me and taking forever to pick out things.
2. Home Depot
3. Menards - last resort
