What's your technique for removing trees/brush with your grapple? Here's mine....

I've got a MX5400 and there is no way I'm pushing a tree over, roots and all.
And I'm talking trees that a 6" diameter.

Here is a big dead tree in red clay that the V417 pushed over by extending the boom at idle (1200RPM):

Standing next to the door I reached in and extended the boom:

You can see the red clay:

Retracted the boom, lowered the grapple and extended again:
