They make a 60 in for the 1430 which would probably work.

Got the wheel motor off last night. Boy what a job. I tried to use a wheel puller to get the hub off and ended up breaking the puller so I took the whole thing to the hydraulic shop today. The 4 bolts holding the motor in place were nearly welded on with rust and I had to use a small sledge tapping the wrench to get them to budge.

The owner of the shop looked at the motor for maybe 2 seconds and said "it's a White (brand) low speed high torque wheel motor" without me telling him anything. I was impressed. He said he could determine the remaining specs once they opened it up.

He spun the shaft by hand and said he felt the motor had severe wear internally. I think he was surprised when I told him it was only 4 years old and maybe 600 hours on it. I asked about replacement cost and he quoted around $400 for a new one. They charge $60 per hour shop labor so it may be cheaper to buy a new one that rebuild the old one.

If he was surprised as to the wear after that many hours I wonder if he can identify why it deteriorated in such a short time frame? Is there something we can all learn as to preventative maintenance that perhaps we are not doing now?

Bob,
I took the wheel motor into a hydraulic shop last week. It took them a week to getting around opening it up. They also had a hard time getting the hub off so it wasn't just me!
They said it did not look too worn and just needs a new seal.
Problem is, they can't find the exact specs in order to get the correct seal kit. Does anyone know the model # of the wheel motors used on a 425 built in 2002?

You must have missed my post about getting the seal from PT and taking the motor in for a reseal. Post #884990 PT will probably have the fight one. The hyd shop may only be guessing. PT does things this way for a reason. You have to purchase the parts from them. Sometimes you can determine what brand they are using. They wanted almost twice what I paid for a hydraulic pump on the steering circuits. Same pump they were using. Pt could overnight the part to you.

This thread discusses the PT425 wheel motors in great detail:
web page

( The White part number is 400230W3122AAAAA )

( I bought the replacement from the local White Hydraulics distributor. White's web site lists the distributors. Nationally, Precision Fluid Power sells them over the web, although you need to ask for a quote. They run about $320 plus shipping. )

Note that these are the "high torque" motors, which PT started using in 2003-4, so it might be a different model.

While you are buying a replacement wheel motor, why don't you buy the version with the integrated drum brake (K31 vs W31)? I think that would be money well spent.
