I am not dragging the kioti name through the mud, they have put it there themselves. As far as waiting for warranty work, you obviously do not have a working farm, as you would understand the importance of time when a piece of equipment goes down. That is why I purchased a new tractor, so I wouldn't have downtime. If it takes 4 weeks to get warranty work, then you have already missed the point. I paid a lot for a new tractor to be able to readily have parts and service, of which i am getting none. As far as my dealer, I am dealing directly with the owner. He has lied to me so many times now that I think he is running for political office. Kioti themselves have lied about calling me back. I understand some of you having brand loyalty, and that is great. But when you post on these forums, you need to be honest, as I read a lot on here before I purchased this tractor, and saw all the "great" things about Kioti. If there had been some honest posts about how when they fail you, they really fail you, then that would have swayed my decision. Oh well, I am getting used to my "open station" tractor now. If I leave the air conditioning on long enough, it may cool the entire field down as I am working, so when we get the hay in, all of us will be comfortable.

My Kioti is 4 years old and has never seen the dealer, what's the point of this useless post...?

First off, they did nothing that any other tractor company wouldn't do. Call Kubota and JD corporate and see if you can just yell at the first person who answers the phone and get them to order some piece of glass. That is the point of a dealer, you can not just call the main office and expect parts orders. Secondly, this is not a warranty claim and your tractor is not down so how can you compare this to how you would be dealt with in a warranty claim? There is no way Kioti or your dealer has any control over getting outsourced parts like glass for a cab, if it were a part for an in-house made product like the backhoe or loader then I could see how they have control over the parts and are responsible for availability.

I have yet to see how they have failed you, they provided you with a great tractor at a very competitive price with a better warranty and now it is up to your dealer to support you after the sale for non-warranty items, not Kioti. If you were mowing and threw a rock at your truck's window would you call Ford, GM, etc... and tell them to order you a new window...

I think you are getting mad at the Kioti brand for something that could be your dealers issue. I took it upon myself to call my dealer and see if this item was available, and according to his order system, this part is in stock at Kioti. So this part should be able to be overnighted to you, if you wish to pay the fees that go along with overnight shipping. That being said, means your dealer is not doing his job. Contact another dealer, and I think your issues will be solved.

The fact that you have attempted to contact Kioti directly is not a normal way of doing business for any corperate type business. Your problems should be handled by your dealer, then passed up the chain of command. I do not agree however, that they said they will call you back and did not do so.

Contact kioti and tell them you want to speak with the customer relations manager. Toll Free : 1-877-GO-KIOTI . This will get the ball rolling, and be sure you include the dealers name who is not taking care of you.

No brand loyalty here,I bought the best tractor for a good price,4 yr warrenty, and a dealer who has given me GREAT sales & service.I have owned Deere, ford, allis and massey tractors all have there problems some more some less.A good tractor dealer can make for a great ownership experience or a crappy one,it sounds like you have had a crappy one.As far as the honest ownership postings you must not be reading the same Kioti sections on this board as I do.I see good and bad posts about Kioti,s just like Kubota,Deere,Massey,New Holland and so forth.coobie

I had plenty of Kubota's in the shop 1 sticks in my mind 17 weeks waiting for a front bolster ONLY to be out done by an Allis Chalmers made by Hinomoto needed a torque tube 6 mos
customers could not use these tractors at all and they just took up valuable shop space.

Not sure I get the point of your post.
My Kioti is 8 years old with just under 1300 hours and has NEVER seen a dealer. But this doesn't help the original poster any.

dadndadn,
I was about to post this same number. Give Melvin a call, I bet he'll help. He owns a mom and pop shop, with his two boys helping. He seems like a real hard worker, and from what I've seen, he has a loyal following in the neighborhood.

He may have what you need, there at his shop. Art
