Thread kind of reminds me about my very expensive Swarovski EL Range bino's I bought for myself and never said a word to Amy. She saw them, knew what they cost and decided she would start collecting Swarovski Crystal. To this day, she's been buying Swarovski and what she has spent on the crystal, my EL Range bino's, pale in comparison cost wise but I keep my mouth shut as a happy wife means a happy life.

Yup! I have never married her.

Back in 2001 we went in to the credit union to get a loan to buy our tractor. Guy asked us how much we needed. I looked at my wife and said tractor is X, attachments are Y, and trailer is Z, so we need about $15K. She looked at me with a smile and said ok.

Then she looked at the loan officer and said "We'll need $30K because I'm getting a new car."
