It has started to warm up here now. been 65F to 70s.
Today it's 73F. I'm loving this nice weather.
It's a nice change over the freezing weather.
Still cold at night. But no daytime freezing temps in the forecast. All 70sF and 60sF

The first really nice afternoon up here on the hill. Temp 58F sunny, water running down the bottom of the snow banks. So I guess the answer to the original post's question is today. :cloud9:

51 F here now, still 2 feet of snow and 8-10' high piles everywhere that are going to make a lot of water go where we don't want it.

It will find its way to the nearest stream and off to the ocean easy enough. You might have to fire up the tractor to direct it around some things you don't want in it's way.

Today made it up to plus 8C which is about 45F. Spent a good chunk of the day outside in a T-shirt so that is a good start but I can be pretty sure we are still in for some more snow and freezing temps yet.
The one for sure sign that spring is near: the flies in my log walls started waking up yesterday. Ugh.

For a change, the last few days have finally been warmer than expected. Instead of highs in the low 40's, we made it to the middle 50's and the lows t night turned into the upper 40's when the low 30's were expected. It's out in the barn tomorrow to get back to the things I never finished last fall. Finally, light at the end of the tunnel.

Wow, winter has certainly made its self known in that part of the country. I wished we had some of that moisture here in WY. Just some of it....

Yesterday was our first good melting day too.
