When is a Grapple a Tree Shear?

A dead tree had fallen across the trail.

First pinch with the Gorilla Grapple at the edge of the trunk.

Second pinch, a little lower.

That sheared it. :thumbsup:

Picked up the sheared off trunk.

Now we can ride the trail.

I think you missed the point of the thread and why it is here in Attachments.

Have you ever seen a grapple shear a tree?

I don't think my grapple "'bucket" would have the same results.
Of course I beat myself up about "bucket" or "root" but I found the grapple bucket suits my needs simply because I didn't have a smooth bucket.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure my 372 XP is faster at cutting wood and only cost $900.

I guess i should have stated in the first post that I don't have a rotating tree shear and the trees are too close together to pull the dead tree out sideways. :confused3:
