You made me smile Morgan. Actually the first tractor I drove was a Farmall B with the offset axle. I was about ten at the time. Dad sat down on the axle beside me and pointed out the throttle and the clutch etc.

He didn't let me drive that one again for a long time. He told my mom that he'd never seen anyone give a tractor full throttle and then drop the clutch...........and then giggle with delight when the horizon was down there......

My poor father, I wonder what he'd done instead on that night with my mother if he'd only known what it would mean later on in his life...........
