Everyone in Western Pa already bought their LS.:laughing:My G3033 was 13,100,purchased in Oct 2011,with FEL and grill guard. Also added BH,6' finish mower, and snowplow.Yes I'm taking credit for limited amount of snow around here,if I had'nt bought it we would have tons of snow.Love my 3033,be prepaired to "pimp you tractor".I added front and rear ROPs lights, tool box holder with ammo cans, and the absolute necessity,a cup holder.GOOD LUCK!

dodger, how about posting some pics of the lights and tool box install. I've been considering those mods myself. Oh, my R3039 came with a cup holder as standard equipment:D.

Per the thread title: I am in Algeria, North Africa listening to it rain (mostly), sleet and snow(occassionally) and wondering what the heck I am doing here. I thought this would be a little warmer than home, but that is not the case. We have even had delays in scheduled shop visits due to ice and snow closing airports and road. Well hopefully I can get back home in about another month. I'm sure my tractor and dog miss me. I hope the wife does too.

That is a deal. I am kicking myself for not buying the b/h with my tractor. I have found so many chores around my place that I could have used it on. Oh well, guess I'll rent one or hire someone.

Gary, watch out for those bot flies. Is the weather getting any better?

If it's any consolation Gary, the weather has been real wet (around here and I assume up there in Arkansas) lately so you probably wouldn't be getting in much seat time if you were home. While it's better than the drought conditions, the mud is not nice when it comes to skidding all the dead trees.

You'll find out just how much the wife missed you when you see the list of "honey dos" she has for you when to get back. Be safe over there.

The jet stream giveth and the jet stream taketh away.

I went down the hill to cut one more tree for this year's mushroom logs. While I was at it, the sky opened up. Had to lock the rear diff to get Mr. Blue back to his tent.

I took my R3039 out yesterday just to drive it around. I thought the ground was a little more frozen than it actually was. Also had about 5" of snow on the ground. Of course I got down the hill ok and messed around a bit. Then when I headed back up the hill the fun began. R4 tires are not the best on muddy ground. Well 4wd and diff-lock got me back to the shed without too much turf damage. I'm going to let the tractor sit until Spring and the ground dries out. It was fun to get a little seat time.

I'm eagerly awaiting the arrival of my 4047H. The dealer called the other day and said it is on its way.

Geez Gary, you still have sleet and snow over there? Wow, it has cooled off a little the last few days, here in Branson, but Highs still in the 60's or 70's. Today is stormy and widely scattered tornadoes predicted coming up from Oklahoma but we are all done with cold weather. I have mowed the lawn several times now.. By the way I swapped off the Kubota for a little bigger/fancier Kioti. Hope you are doing OK over there, and can get back soon.

I came back for another tour April 1 and decided that I probably wont need a jacket since spring is here, well it is still cold here. In the low 50's this morning I would say. I have been wearing my rain coat for both windbreaker and a little warmth not to mention the almost daily rains. I got my notice today that I can demob back to Arkansas on May 31st. I was hoping for early out but I guess the money will come in handy. I'm gonna spend some of it on a TLB (used) but its likely not going to be an LS since I have the only one around me that I have seen. Used TLB seem to be pretty scarce unless you want a full sized one and they are available in any flavor and model and price range. I have only found about 4 CUT in 4 state area that fit my needs, one Cub Cadet 7300 (1200 hrs) , 2 -B 21 Kubotas with over 1500 hours each and a Kioti CK25 (635 hrs)all on Craiglist and all around 12-13K. Tractorhouse is a full waste of time and everyone thinks theres is new from the priceing. Well cant wait to get home and check some of these out. Anyone know of a small TLB similar to what I have mentioned here, let me know. Not looking to spend more that $13000

Hey, James, do you like the Kioti better than Kubota?

I am liking it, I have only put about 2 hours on it, still feeling it out, This model is a delux model, has lots more bells and whistles..so not really fair comparing to "standard" model Kubota. Sure like the telescoping 3pt arms and sway bars.

My LS has the telescoping arms and sway bars too. It would be impossible (nearly)to hook up to large heavy piece of equipment without them. I dont understand why hardly any of the small tractors have them even as an option. They would put ole Pats easy change out of business if they did.

My tractor came with telescoping lower links. I ordered a set of Pats slide ins for it. They are so much easier, but the factory links beat the heck out of non telescopic links.
