Where did the name come from

The name of our farm. When I plowed my first garden and went out to plant it a couple of days later I found about 50 toads in it.

Our family consists of me,my wife,and our ten year old daughter so I came up with the idea of the Three Bears hence me being Papabear.

I have been Bill Bill at work for about 29 years, might be from my real name being William Williams.

I have had 3 dalmatian dogs. They were all named some variation of the name Dapper after the Disney movie "The Dapper Dalmatian. Hence it is my dog's name.

Kind of silly now, but it is a real pain to try to get it changed now.

I used to lurk on site for a long time, reading posts that I could relate to. I kept reading about neat projects, and the mishaps, blunders, etc. that folks talked about. I would think to myself, "been there, done that!", hence my name BTDT.

Texan and proud of it.... 6 generations worth....my ancestors bought in the rest of the folks from Tennessee, etc, and signed the Texas Declaration of Independence. Lots of history and nuances wrapped up in one word TEXAS!

My momma gave it to me

When my wife and I first bought our farm it had two small poultry barns that we raised 40 thousand chickens in for Foster Farms. K=1000 so 40Kchicks.

After this last summers expansion we now raise 210,000 chickens but I don't think I'll change the name.
