Where did this strap come from?

Found this on the ground the other day. Can someone tell me where this came from on my BX24?

I am thinking it might be used to hold the battery down.

I agree with Kcender. Take a look at your battery and see if it still has a retaining band holding it in place. Looks like one of the end loops busted free.

It looks like the strap that holds my L5450 air cleaner canister down. I have 2 straps that look like that, one in front, one in the rear. They are a little hard o see how they clip down, but just look closely if that is what it is.

I dont think so- my battery strap is all rubber with t's on each end. that one in pic has a metal buckle. I just find it hard to believe for it to fall out since its in front with screen on.

I can't fathom at the moment where it would go on my BX24.
