Mine are in a barn that Dad, my brothers and me built after Mom and Dad's house was built in 73. None of us were carpenters and it shows. It's a pole barn, the poles being cedar poles now rotted at the bottom. She leans a little so 10-15 years ago we took some high tensile and tied onto the top plate on both uphill corners and the other end to trees. You can reach up and grab one of the wires, pull down and watch the whole barn move. It does have enough electricity to run a AC welder, 220 volt. The roof is good but some drainage needs to be done to divert runoff on the hillside. Water runs through in a good rain.
