Until I can get a nice 14 x 25 shed built I moved the company truck into the drive and the Kubota stays in the garage or a barn in upstaet NY.

Actually inside my 30'x40' metal building. Since my land is 30+ miles from where I live, I built in a bathroom with shower and small kitchen area so that I/we can go up and spend the weekend if we want.

We used to keep 'Buttercup' in the open shed but we began noticing unexplained artifacts of green paint on various portions of her anatomy. Upon carefull nightly monitoring it was discovered she was sneaking over to the neighbors and having her way with the John Deere. She now sleeps in the locked garage until her behaviour improves. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

In my garage at home with my Jeep. I have to tote it about 75 miles out to the property. I like your setup BB TX.

Out in the open, along with all my implements, unfortunately. One bay in the garage houses the wife's car; the other stores the JD GT245 lawn tractor along with bikes, trash cans, etc. That leaves me with two trucks, two trailers, and my NH 1920 sitting in the driveway. Long term plan is for a bank barn with a lean-to for implements, tractor storage below, and my woodworking shop above, but I have to get the rest of the stuff paid for before I go building the barn. Gritting my teeth and making extra payments as much as I can...

Why not get/build a shed (10x12?) to house the above? Then you can at least park the tractor indoors.

The wife's Yukon felt sorry for the new "little" fellow and didn't want him to spend lonely cold nights out side so the Yukon gave up his space in the garage so the "little" kioti could stay warm in the company of the cats! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

2004 DX33... Outside, with the seat flipped up. Same as all of the other tractors I've owned.

I park my DF 354 in the little Barn and my new Kioti is in the Horse Barn which is temporary at the moment. New Pole Barn for Kioti and Hay will be built when the road is dry enough for a cement truck to the back of property without getting stuck. Go to webshots for pictures.

Two reasons:
1. Money
2. The only flat ground on my property is occupied by my house (had to knock off the top of a ridge to build it) and a high tension electric tower. The power lines have a 100 foot right of way in which I cannot build anything, and of course it takes a diagonal course across the only remotely flat land I own. The remainder of the property is way too steep for a simple shed; anything I build will involve lots of excavating and a deep foundation. If I'm going to that much effort and expense, i might as well build the bank barn I have drawn up, but finances just don't allow that yet.

I bought two 40 foot sea containers to store mine in until I could build a barn. Then I just put a roof over both containers and created a "container barn" that I chronicled in the Projects forum. Not sure how to link to it.

Under the circumstances, it worked out pretty good, but there are some things I'd do differently. Number one is a concrete floor!!!

My other tractors are outside girls.
