in the process of building a 28' x 32' garage for the baby. i have a concrete pad, studded walls, 10' wall height, 18' overhead door, 36" man door and metal roof and sides. i just hope i can keep it hidden from the wife. she hasn't gotten over the tractor purchase yet.

In a two car garage in the basement of my home.
Only downside is the diesel fumes at start up...but I back the tractor out as soon as the oil pressure is up.

My 4010 with FEL and LX4 cutter fit nicely in the basement of my carriage house, which is like a "walk-out" basement of most houses around the hills of Virginia.

I can detach the LX4 and wheel it to the side on castors and park the tractor a little further back.

My 2 shredders are in this spot, too.

I touched up your pic just a bit. Not that it really needed it, but you can right click on it and save it if you want to. John

Mine lives in one of those cover-it 12X20 tarp structures beside the garage. I'm putting a lean-to style addition on the garage this summer so everything can sleep inside.

By the way, if anyone is looking for a website with some great photos of garages and barns in many different styles, check out http://www.countrycarpenters.com/index.html
Pick a style in the left hand column and click on it, then click photo gallery in the right hand side of the page. Some great photos of a lot of different styles and types, great source for ideas.

In my 40 by 60 shop building, with me. My wife and I, 2 dogs and a cat live in about 23 feet of the length, the tractor and both cars are in the rest. Other miscellaneous and sundry belongings are stored on top of the living quarters. All the implements except the one currently hooked to the tractor stay out in the weather, and it shows. I'm wondering now where I going to store my new tiller.

I'd sooner park my truck outside than the tractor. At least it has a cab.

( I have a Board and banton barn style shed that was built to store my tractor and implements. The shed is 14 feet by 32 feet long. I had 2 swing doors on the front that are taller than the foldable ROPS of the B2410 that I owned. Also had the wood floor reinforced with extra lumber to support all the weight of the equipment. This shed was built by Eberly barns from Lancaster county, PA and delivered to my site by a special tilting trailer pulled by a dually pickup truck. The width was the restriction for towing on the highway but length could have been even up to 50 feet or more as I recall. I love this barn and theoreticlly can move it to another site if needed. I like that I don't have to fold down the tractor ROPS and can still use dollies for moving implements easily on the wood floor. )

Nik - Can I ask what a shed/barn like that costs? That is very nice and something like that would be our ideal 'home' for our equipment (tractor, mowers, cycle).

In a 24x30x10 garage I had built last summer to specifically store the tractor and boat. Went with a 9x16 garage door and the tractor rolls right in with out having to mess with the ROPS. To make it palatable to the CEO, I had to carve out an 8x8 darkroom for her. Still leaves me plenty of room for a work area and storage, but it's filling up fast! /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif
