I don't think so. I have a weigh safe hitch with a scale built in. It's really handy for verifying your ballance & tongue weight. I glance at every time after I load to make sure I'm at 1,500-2,000lbs of tongue weight or so. If not I adjust the load. I might have to park the tractor a hair further on the deck.Another vote for the trailer for the same reasons. Also, 36 gallons of diesel weights about 250# plus the weight of the tank, is that going to cause problems with tongue weight/balance with the trailer?
350 gallon tank & a 55gal drum at home. I either fill the transfer tank from home or at a gas station down the road. I occasionally haul fuel home if my tanks are empty & I haven't scheduled a delivery.Understanding everyone's needs are different.
What about when the tank needs refilled? So you would have to hitch up the trailer and pull it to town to get fuel? Or maybe you have a storage tank at home and would only fill it if travelling to work?
I have two trucks and wish I had a second transfer tank.
