I think the real idiots here are the people assuming that what they think they are seeing is true without checking things out to see if it really is true! Way too many people judge without knowing all the facts. It could very well be that what the op is suggesting is true, but without actually having some first hand knowledge he has no right to call another person an idiot.

Sorry if I've ruffled some feathers but I have had way too many people misread me just because they were to lazy to get all the facts.

Silly guy, you are supposed to have the car seat facing backwards. He could get a ticket for having the car seat installed improperly.

Had a neighbor back a "few" years ago that let his kids ride on the bush hog. Nobody in the community knew until his oldest girl fell off and the blade broke her upper arm. Somebody upstairs was looking out for her.:shocked:

You're right, pmsmechanic. We shouldn't call another person an idiot without facts to back it up.

So instead, I'll just say that based on the photo, either the person taking the picture, or the one driving the zero turn mower , is an idiot for placing a child in such a hazardous condition. And deserves to have child protective services confiscate the baby due to abusive behavior by the assumed parents or guardians.

There, that leaves some wiggle room in case it was deliberately staged or photo-shopped.

Well I would say based on the photo the person is not mowing the grass. It doesn't even look freshly cut. And maybe I'm a bit naive but my thoughts are that you just can't be that stupid to mow with a baby there. Like a friend of mine says "They must be twins because one of them couldn't be that stupid".

On a more serious note, a friend posted on FB that a relative of theirs had a tractor accident. Their 6 year old was riding in the Ford 9 N. While the father was sitting in the seat operating the brush hog. They hit a bump and the child fell into the path of the cutter. The father dived off to try and save the child. The child is dead and the father is missing a leg and one cheek. Still in intensive care from what I understand. They are asking for prayers. We were very sorry to hear about this.

Fresh clippings on the deck there? Hands/handles together as if to travel?

I'd bet the fellow wouldn't ever have the wee one on that deck with the blades engaged, and that this was for show (sale) vs to be any sort of example.

Cute kids & puppies, but one doesn't always get the attention they seek.
