That's Felix. He's just a DSH. Fixed but still has his claws. 10 years old. He's only 16 lbs. He used 8 of his lives when he was 1 year old -- got hit by a car... /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif broke both rear hips, tailbone and part of spine. Doc wanted to put him down but I couldn't do it. He gets around good.. tho he does have a slight limp. I guess laying like this takes the pressure off of his back.

Re: Where\'s the remote???

I have a M tabby named max. He sleeps like that too but both my cats are strictly indoors. Moe is nudgeing me now saying I darn well better mention her name too. Her favorite trick is when we have company to come out and stand in front of the guests on her hind legs and literally beg with her front paws, its the craziest thing. Cats are great as we travel a lot and their independent. Although I have plans for a lab now that I have some land. dave

That's the great thing about them. We take off for 3 or 4 days at a time and as long as we leave extra food, water and some litter, they are fine. They don't go outside to get fleas or ticks. You can't do that with a dog; I tried. They eat all their food at one time, crap everywhere and spill the water. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif One day I might get another dog, but for now, cats live in the house, we just visit.

Re: Where\'s the remote???

Good pic,We've also got a couple of house cats. They are in that position or on their side about 23 out of every 24 hours, very lazy and very spoiled /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

We also have a 7 month old Boxer pup that won't leave the cats alone as he wants to play, after a while they finally started ignoring the dog,he was interfering with the cats "nap time" /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Re: Where\'s the remote???

Here's mine. He's 16 pounds in this photo last year. He's been losing weight. Two weekends ago he was diagnosed with diabetes. I now give him insulin injections twice a day. He doesn't seem to care. He's 16 years old this month.

Re: Where\'s the remote???

Gary,
That looks exactly like my brothers cat. He too loved beer and potato chips or anything else you'd give him. I'm told when the car hit him it looked like a basketball flying through the air.

Nice looking cat and quilt.
My grandmother made quilts and never owned a sewing machine. I have your pattern in blue and white. Imagine that, now I drive a blue and white!

Re: Where\'s the remote???

They have to have playmates, too! You can't own just one dog or cat... they get spoiled, can't stand other animals and don't follow directions. You have to have at least two to keep them out of trouble. We have 4 -- 3 males...10, 9 & 3 and 1 female --1 year old. They never go out (I can't stand fleas and ticks) and never ask to drive the car, go to movies or for money. Yep, these kids are OK. Our 2-legged ones are grown and gone.
