Backhoe Which Backhoe?

Need opinions on which hoe to buy, Choices are between a Kioti KB2465 and a Woods 70X. I like the Woods because of the factory thumb option. Was told by the dealer that with the Kioti they would install a set of remotes, on the woods the hydraulics would be looped, what ever that means, and could only be used for the hoe, don't like that. Couldn't I have a set of remotes installed and run either hoe off of them?

Both hoes are well respected. I'd definitely go for getting rear remotes as it increases your flexibility to use the tractor with topping lift etc. I don't recognize the term "looping" but maybe it is power beyond which is certainly adequate to run a BH but not nearly as flexible and useful as rear remotes.

My kubota was 'looped' when I bought it.
I was told that it could power a backhoe, 3pt wood splitter or other attachment that had it's own controls.

I never followed the lines but I assume it is the feed to the FEL.

I was told to NEVER disconnect the quick connects that are 'looped' behind the seat unless the tractor was turned off....

The used backhoe I bought has a PTO pump so I have never used the 'loop'.

My Kioti backhoe is looped, it's inline with the hydro system. In other words, when I have the hoe off, I need to be certain the in and out lines to the hoe are attached to eachother so that the circuit is completed, otherwise the diverter is triggered if the lines are not hooked up. Remotes would enable you to unhook and not have to use a jump from the unhooked inflow to the unhooked outflow.

I have the woods 70X with thumb & I love it. I have the subframe package, and find the whole thing is very rugged. I can disconnect the hoe under 5 minutes and reconnect in about the same time frame.

The loop that Joel mentioned is exactly they way my kubota is set up. When the hoe is off, I just connect the lines to complete the circut. Hopefully, I attached a picture correctly.

I have the ck30hst with woods bh80-x with factory thumb it is great. I think it is about the most powerful backhoe possible for a 3000lb 30 hp tractor.

I installed the kioti set of remotes myself. No loop needed.
