Which brand saw?

I have a husky 51 and after only 15 years broke the ring. Replaced with the larger 55 cylinder and piston for 100bucks. I did hear the new saws in mass market are lower quality. id probably buy a sthil today

They all make budget line saws nowadays, and they also make pro line saws. You won't find a proline saw next to anything on a big box store shelf, but you will find them on the same shelf at your stihl dealer. the key is asking the right questions, and researching before you buy, which would be a no brainer I would think.
