Heck after my experience Husky/Jonserad really rates tops for me.
I have a Jonserad that the crankshaft plain seperated where the clutch nut grips the crank.
The saw was about 10 yrs old and really has not worked much at all. (like I have merely gone through about 3-4 chains and still uses the origional bar).
I called customer service at Jonserad/Husky explaining that I was well out of warranty but thought they would like to hear about this.
As an aircraft liscenced mechanic (A&P) I know a bit about metalurgy and pointed out that it looked like a heat treating problem by the type of break.
The company gave me a FREE new C/S (on a 10yr old used saw!).
Now that's what I call customer satisfaction.
OK, I purchased a piston, rings bearings gaskets etc, but my saw is 'like new' now.
Beat that for PR!
