which forged 3/8 hooks?

Can you order 1/2" instead of 3/8" so no grinding?

I can see where it was cutoff and angled. It is smooth from being touched up with a grinder, not rough like the rest of the forged surface:

A couple of people have already tried to tell him that, he just doesn’t see it. If they are that “Standard” in the industry, shouldn’t be hard to find.

No, the 3/8 are to tall and angled wrong. The 1/2s are taller yet and still the wrong angle. Normal chain hooks are parallel so as to hole onto chains. As seen in the ones I cut and ground, they are more V shaped.

I've building these for about 15 years after we found the manufactured ones to be of poor quality and overly hard to use. We broke them, bent them and we couldn't get them opened when we got stuck. So yes, there are plenty of them already out there FS. No need to show them to me. These in particular are an extended length hitch for use with ATV or UTV with pods. Some manufactures use rolled steel hooks which tend to bend and that's the reason we use forged which is much stronger product. We've not bent one yet. All the hitches I've posted photos of, I built it.

You should note in the below photos that I switched from slip hooks that are overly time consuming to construct.

I have to wonder, being that you have 15 years of manufacturing a unique product, what do you expect from us ATV pintle novices?:confused3:

an extra set of eyes or know how about the different type of hooks that are out there. I know I have found all sorts of good information simply by asking the forum.

I think the sugestion to ask the original amazon seller is a good one but unfortunately it does look like the original hooks were probably modified.

There's no question his original Amazon hooks were modified from grab hooks and seemingly one off's. Amazon purchasers have a history the buyer can lookup and review the order with contact info. He seemingly has not done this few minute effort yet. How many here have searched for this hook this past week? I spent a good 45 minutes one bored morning and came up with nothing. He's denies the obvious and instead seems convinced this unicorn product exists somewhere.

Just take a 3/8 grab and cut it. No grinding required for this application anyway.

Not exactly what you have, but it appears that the angle is correct. Some grinding is required

Zoro shows a 3/8" version, but the second photo does not completely load. That second photo appears to have the angled one.

Looks like you are just dragging this thing...... why overthink it? Bend a chunk of 1/2" rebar, weld and pull.

@breadtrk. I kind of agree. But to each his own. He is determined to fabricate a mini pintle type hitch with unobtainium hooks. I'm waiting for his final model.
