Which I must choose?ZD or F series Kubota mower??

I want buy a new mower ( 72" width) to mawn my 5 acers land I do know wich one i need to buy? 50% of the surface are plenty of trees

Most responders will recommend you get whatever they have. In that spirit I can heartily recommend the ZD28, which I purchased last summer.

I did not try any one. My feeling look like the ZD have a suspension more stiffer at high speed than the F series!

My land are almost flat. I have some wet ditch to cross in a rainy day.

And I know nothing about the F series except what's on their site. But, if you have flat land and lots of trees to mow around, sounds like the ZD might have an advantage.

I have a <font color="green"> JD </font> front mower. When going through the purchasing search I got to try several different Zero Turn (ZT) and Front Mowers (FM). It di not take long to realize that the ride on the front mowers was much better than the ZT's. I did test <font color="orange"> Kubota </font> FMs. But in the size that I wanted the handling of the mower was not as good as the <font color="orange"> JD </font>. Plus I got a great deal on it.
Features that make the FM's better than the ZT's are..........
1. Better ride
2. 4WD is better on wet grass with hills
3. Mower sets out front farther than a ZT. This allow cutting under trees that have low branches
4. Have a steering wheel that allows handling like a tractor.
5. A cab can be installed
6. Attachments can be bought. Front Blade, Snowblower, and sweeper brush plus others
Downside to a FM is cost. They have a starting price for the 4WD models about $20,000. A ZD can be bought for less than $15,000.

It seems to me FM have better ride at high speed.
I look for 72” wide. You have tried Kubota?
According to you what is the pros & cons JD FM versus Kubota FM?

You can get a 72". I have tried the the <font color="orange"> Kubota </font>.

I have no preference between <font color="green"> JD </font>and <font color="orange"> Kubota</font>. They both will do the job very well.

I had typed a post last night and touched on some of ronjhalls post. I tried to post and lost the link up. I have a front mount Grasshopper mower. With a Kubota engine. The ride is better and you can stick that deck places the mid mount want go. This is my 2nd Grasshopper when we moved and got more grass I got a larger one. My father in-law has a mid mount. I will take my front mount over before I use his. The commercial guys say they take up too much room on trailers. On my mower the deck will tilt to a 90 deg for easy blade work and cleaning. The G2 trans on the grasshopper has 2 hyd pump and 2 hyd motors that I can take to a local shop and have rebuilt if ever needed. There website is www.Grasshoppermower.com

I tried compact tractor JD 3720 against a Bota L 3830 one month ago.They are not the same. The bota run better, are build stronger, they are less noisy etc...For me the choice are easy. I do not know nothing about FM JD & Bota.
