If one was to tackle a Kubota restoration which model would you restore. Which model and year is the most desirable and why? If you could buy any restored Kubota what one would you want? Like classic cars, which Kubota is the "64 mustang". If there are more than one list them in order of desirability.

Kubota L245DT, MY first tractor, I rolled it over and walked away from it, replaced seat, steering Wheel, both fenders and hood. I also purchased 20' of 2"x4" tubing and welded a ROPS. Just in case there was a next time.

I don't think there are ANY Kubotas in that class. Modern tractors aren't show pieces (yet).

Now if you found a low serial number machine, like sn00001, that might be valuable in the future.

But I am biased as I don't think any tractors past about 1964 are very classically beautiful.

Hmm, I have seen quite a few B7100's restored. Maybe that is a good route to take..

Yeah the B6000 or B7000's seem classic, how about specialty Kubota's like narrows.

B7100's are a nice machine, I always liked the L275's too, my next choice would be an L355SS.

I kinda agree. My previous tractor, a Kubota, was a GREAT tractor. So is my current New Holland. But, even though they have been great work horses, I do not find them appealing like the 30's and 40's Farmall, JD, and AC tractors.
