Which manuals included?

I'm probably gonna finalize a deal on a BX22 this week. What manuals should come with a new tractor purchase? What manuals would be considered extra cost? I would think an "operators" manual would be included for the tractor, loader, backhoe, and mid mount mower. Are there service or parts manuals which should be required reading? Thanks, C

That's the way my B7500 came, an operators manual for the tractor, mmm, fel and my bagger. I also purchased the service manual which, if I remember right, was about $90.00. I still need to pick up the parts manual.

What "should" and what "does" come with your equipment seems to vary a bit, but if you're buying new I would say you are entitled to and should expect to receive at least the owner's manuals.

My tractor and FEL each came with an owner's manual, and I ordered and paid extra for the workshop manual and parts list (something like $80 and $30 respectively) for the tractor itself. Haven't regretted that expense one bit.

Other implements seem to be kind of spotty in terms of manuals. Neither my box blade nor my rotary cutter, both from Howse, came with manuals, but when I later called about them, they were sent to me for free. Just about what they were worth, I might add. /w3tcompact/icons/tongue.gif

You will get an operator's manual for the tractor and every attachment. The only thing you might check is to see if you get the latest Bx22 manual.The manual I got with my BX22 in March was replaced by a newer one from the dealer last month. The newer one has a new pg 43. It also has the number O.c.2.2.7.L at center bottom of back cover. I doubt you would receive an older manual with a newer tractor, I believe mine was one of the first delivered ---at least that is what the dealer told me. Good Luck-It is a nice machine, don't regret trading the Bx2200.
