Which oil do you prefer for BX front. axle

I asked the parts guys at kubota about this and they said either would be fine...Went with the Kubota gear oil..Mine stays in a heated garage, so cold isn't an issue.

having a quart of lucas gear oil for the MMM is not the same as having SUDT on hand for everythign else. MY " gearbox" on tiller and MMM gets correct gear weight oil.

That's the point. Thus, it's probably a pointless discussion.
Most equipment guys have both on hand anyhow. Gotta. This isn't a simply your life kind of thing. It's like car oil, truck oil, tractor oil, 2 stroke oil, gotta have all those too. Different filters for everything too. The only way your gonna simplify your life is to sell all your stuff and move into a condo!!

The manual calls for either, so either it is.
