Which one to buy?

Want to buy new tractor and not sure which one to get? here it is,, Kubota B7800 w\fel,backhoe $21,400 , JD 4210 same setup $24,250 or Branson 3510 same setup $22,500.. everyone keeps telling me go with the kubota, little worried about not having a subframe for the backhoe on it.. the JD is good, I just think there a little overpriced.. and the Branson is new out there, but it looks like a good tractor, just don't have the hydrostatic on it, but I think I can live with the shuttle shift.. but still worried about it being new out there.. what ya guys and or gals think.. thanks from the northwest...

I will not try to jump on the bandwagon, but I priced and looked at the Kubota and JD. $4000 to $10,000 more than a CK30 HST.

Sure can buy alot of implements and other toys with the extra $$$

Welcome to TBN.

I agree that a subframe is a benefit on this size tractor. Have you considered a backhoe other than Kubota's? I have a Woods 7500 backhoe on a subframe for my B7800 and find it to be a great combination. And, it cost a little less than the Kubota backhoe.

And that's including standard features as opposed to upgrading to options on the others. You just can't go wrong. Gerard

You told us what you think your options are but not your uses, how much land. I have no backho experience. I do know the put alot up stress on the tractor. IMO a subframe is required.

I don't think you've looked at enough tractors yet. Suframe or Woods new 4pt, YES. NO to 3pt! My opinion.
I looked for a year at: gray market tractors of all makes, Kubota, Mahindra, JD, NH, Massey, Branson, Century etc. Ended up with a great deal on a Kioti. They're all good tractors, and wouldn't worry about them being "new" out there as I think you'll find all of those makes you mentioned have actually been made for a while.
A lot of folks don't realize that Kioti has been in the states since 1985. Kubota came here in the 70s. Kukje (branson engines) who has a deal with Cummins Diesel has been around for a while too.
I won't recommend anything as I have no idea what you need it for, but any of these are good tractors. Find the one you like being on, with comfortable controls, a good price, good financing if needed, and a dealer you can feel good about and buy THAT tractor.
It goes without saying that I think Kioti is makes an outstanding product. John

Don't know anything about the kioti (?) , I have 3 acres of land, I plan on using the backhoe to clean out drain ditch, 425 ft long, and I need to put in a couple more drainage lines. Plus I got a lot of blackberries I want to clean up, I have a brushhog but doesn't work to good on a vertical bank. I believes I could put backhoe to a lot of different uses. I'm also thinking of doing side jobs with this tractor. Also plan on building a new home in few years with more land to play on.. I like doing a lot of outside projects, but I can also be a little hard on equipment sometimes.. But not to bad.. Ok plus my wife thinks my tractor will be sexy!! She is the outdoor kind of women, rather go to homedepot than a jewelry store.. likes to get her hands dirty....

If you get a chance, take a look at my albums and see some of the jobs I've done with my CK20. I've also made posts about dragging trees where I pulled some pretty large pines around like they were nothing. I have the loader and backhoe as well, and really get a lot done with my Kioti CK20HST. Sorry, my brush mower doesn't do too well on a vertical bank either! John

I think you are looking at tractors that are too large for 3 acres of land. If it was me, I'd look at a small frame tractor with a good FEL and a subframe mounted backhoe. (Since you are familar with JD and Kubota think along the lines of the JD4115 or Kubota B7610) I would trust any of the big 3 brands, plus all the minor brands like Cub Cadet, Kioti, Mahindra, Massey Ferguson. Branson makes a nice tractor, but nothing as small as I would recommend.

The reason I would go smaller is that you have 3 acres, once you are done with the projects a big tractor will do, you will have a tractor that is way too big for the land. A smaller tractor may take a bit longer to do the initial projects, but it will still be a useful tool in the future. JMHO
