Which one to choose

A Kubota BX with a backhoe is really just a subcompact tractor with a backhoe hung on the back. It has a subframe setup so it is designed for it. It isn't like a B26 though in terms of being a true construction grade machine, its more of a homeowner setup.

I dont know anything about either tractor that you mentioned, but I will just say this, both are just backhoe add on's to a tractor frame. If I were buying, I would go with the Kubota BX23S which is a factory designed TLB not a tractor that someone has hung a backhoe on to. My B26 is also a factory designed TLB and has much more weight than a standard B 26XX series with an added hoe.

I dont think anyone other than Kubota makes a factory designed TLB in the SCUT/CUT sized tractors. The last company to make a competitor was the JD 110 but they quit making it years ago. Guess they couldn't compete with the Kubota design.

A bx23 is a bx2380 with a subframe bolted on, the backhoe mounted to that. Same thing with my gc1710 or any color scut tlb. You're probably referring to backhoes tacked onto a 3ph, yeh that's generally no good on a scut, but that's not what the o/p is referring to.
