I am leaning towards the bigger tractor.....because there are times the grass gets hard to cut....but I was not sure if that was a tractor problem or the type of mower used. Drum vs Disc.

I do not hay.

From my experience with Rotary Cutters I will speculate it may be how sharp the cutters are maintained, not the type of mower.

Yes we are at around 6500....and storage will be next to house....not covered at this point. Anyway I had no idea that altitude could effect HP...good to know. I understand about the thicket steel. Great. Last question...should I take confidence in knowing the shop has gone through this chassis and replaced bearing and seals and a clutch...or should that cause me worry. I think I know what I am getting know....and it was due.

The issue is how was the L3750 stored, inside or outside, prior to now? L3750 was produced 1984 - 1990. Even with only one owner that is a long time for rodents to have the opportunity to get to the wiring, if stored outside. Also additional weathering on the tires and hydraulic lines if stored outside.

Should I take confidence in knowing the shop has gone through this chassis and replaced bearing and seals and a clutch...or should that cause me worry? I think I know what I am getting know....and it was due.

This is mostly a factor of the service reputation the dealer has in your community.

Clutches go, sooner when a tractor is operated by an employee(s), later when operated by an owner. Front seals could be from doing heavy loader work without a counterweight mounted on the Three Point Hitch or from rough field conditions, or something else.........

As it is a Kubota, you can be confident parts will be available for the next forty years, if needed. And Kubota is building a National Distribution Center in Kansas, so parts will soon be overnight.

If you are going to post regularly, I suggest adding your 6,500 foot altitude to your location of Ignacio, CO in your TBN profile.

Your altitude is important.

We own a L3000,L3300 and L4240 HSTC and like all but I would choose the
L3750 for a one tractor operation.The "50"series has a good reputation.

Jeff - You don't post YOUR altitude - :)
And where the heck is Fanning Springs, Gilchirst County, North-Central Florida? :)
Fanning Springs is a city in Gilchrist and Levy counties in the U.S. state of Florida.

Fanning Springs is between Chiefland, to the south, Trenton to the east, Old Town to the north and the Gulf of Mexico twenty-five miles to the west. Altitude at my home is 52 feet above MSL.

Chiefland, a regional market town, has Walmart, a Winn-Dixie, Tractor Supply Company, John Deere and Kubota.

Gilchrist County is the smallest and newest (1923) county in the state of Florida. Our winters are divine.

We is rural. Farmland is $10,000 per acre, the same as Iowa.

CONFESSION is good for the SOUL.
