Here's the way it works when the wire is on the same side of the fence as the tractor.

But of course occasionally the wire is on the other side. Driving a tractor down the neighbor's side of the fence sometimes goes over like a, well, uh, not well. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

To load the handler one slides the pipe with the base into the core of the roll of wire. One then stands the wire up. The boom is then slid over the pipe, rod placed, va va voom!

And the best thing of all is after one gets the wire up, tensioned, dressed, and tied one isn't too pooped to pop.

One of the complaints about V Mesh is it's impossible to make look good when the terrain isn't perfectly flat.

I remember you saying somewhere in the past that you set your posts 2" back from the property line [or something like that].

Looking at this thread a question popped into my head...How does Wharv do this? How's he drill a hole and set the post without disturbing the neighbor's land?

Do you just dig up some of the neighbor's property, then back fill and foget? I know this would be a non issue if I were involved as the neighbor, because I would not care if a little of my propety was augered and then back filled.

But I remember the horror stories I have read here about neighbors that cannot get along...so I am just wondering... /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

What do you do if a neighbor is not willing to give an inch?

How do you tension the wire fence? I envision some type of clamp onto the fence, and then pull with Iris?
