2000 RPM on my B26 is a sweet spot; plenty of power and operating speed and yet the engine isn't screaming like it does at WOT (2600 rpm)

My B 26 does whine and much louder than my BIL's New Holland. I am thinking seriously of trying to find some SUDT2 or other synthetic to see if it quietens it down a bit. This as soon as I get my RV setting stabilized

the manual really doesnt say it just says check it when its warmed up and i have heard that if you use a thinner oil it pretty much stops it but i want to use whats best for the tractor and not my ears is it safe to use a thinner oil? also how fast should the peddle come back up it comes back up kinda slow im used to using my buddies case 580 gear so this is all new to me

The tractor should stop immediately when your foot comes off the hydro pedal.

as long as your sure the fluid level is correct the warmer it get's will quiten it some but not alot and no i would not use a thinner oil because of the tempature.

It would be something I would be concerned about. If the pedal doesn't freely return to the center position it may want to cause the tractor to creep down the road. I'm sure it's nothing major. Maybe it needs a shot of grease or a better return spring.

i will have to ask the dealer if it should be running or not when checking the oil if it doesnt need to be running then i would have to say its low it barely touches the stick and with it running it seems to be splashed over the whole thing
