I've pushed snow twice this season in Montana. Starting to wonder if I should just sell the tractor and go back to ATV plowing?
Who is excited for snow season? Not us! We're depressed due to lack of snow.

I'm never excited for snow. Up extra early to clear my driveway, go to work early to plow/snowblow/shovel/salt all day long, then back home to clear up whatever fell during the day. Then dinner, shower, and bed. No fun.

I always look forward to snowfall, and the more the better.
Largely because every time I use some sort of machinery to clear snow I get a little better at it. And I love learning.

Yeah, but you get paid to play in the snow. I did too, and loved it!

Here are photos of blowing and another of pushing snow. A few years ago we got a machine that could push it and 
what a better job to do.. Made moving it quicker and less wet. We get more snow than you folks do.

Mowed mine today, too. Not uncommon for a mowing every 2-3 weeks from 11/1-12/21 in PA.I just came in from mowing the lawn. December 9, 2023, I mowed the lawn. Pathetic.

Usually I mow to mid October. Maybe one more time in November, but more to tackle the leaves, not the lawn. Today, it was just plain long.
It was a good day to cut a Christmas tree, though.

Wait until you guys retire. Snow is an entirely different situation then. SO...... yesterday afternoon I got 5" of heavy, wet snow. This AM it's down to 3.5" because, like last time, it's raining right now. Later today I will bust a trail out the driveway with the Taco Wagon. Wet snow is a PITA. Does not grade nor blow well.
I'm just not in the mood to fight with wet, sloppy snow. The Taco Wagon will have no trouble making a path out my mile long driveway.
