I have a 7 foot landpride RFM I love it and think the cut equals my ZTR. On that B3200 you should be able to handle a 6 foot. I had a B7800 and ran a 5 and then a 6 foot RFM all Land pride.

I'm getting a Buhler Y550R 60" RFM next week. I had the chance to
get a used 54" MMM but they seem to be a headache getting on and off.
We are currently developing our property so ease of mower removal
was an issue. I'll keep you posted as to likes and dislikes.

Thanks for the responses guys.....the brand my local dealer sells is FARM KING it's a Canadian company and he says they are a solid unit and haven't experienced any troubles with them. I think Farm King is part of Buhler?

Yes, they are part of the same company. There stuff isn't cheap,
but they do seem well made.

I currently mow about 4 acres with a Swisher side-discharge finish mower, 60" pulled by my Honda Foreman 450. It's worked great for the last 5 years, but my Foreman is getting old and pulling that mower has been hard on it. I'm thinking of selling the Swisher and investing in a good RFM for my Kioti CK27. But my terrain is pretty hilly. Parts of it I'd have to cut straight up and down due to the grade...and that would be somewhat hair-raising until I got used to it. And having to do that would eat time too. I can cut the 4 acres now in about 4 hours, give or take. I've got a lot of obstacles, but over the years I've developed a system. I guess we all do that. I always say, "Try to maximize your blade-in-grass ratio", meaning try to find ways to keep the mower in the grass needing cut and out of the grass that's already cut. That's not always easy to do.

I have a Buhler Y550R that I bought last summer for $1700. Saved me a lot of time and it is perfect for mowing my RC runway. I use a JD 3005.

Have a Woods 84" RFM. It does a great job. Zero problems, in 4 years. IMO, get a Woods or other "name brand". Much more cost effective long term.

I'm using a Frontier GM1072R (72 inch, rear discharge - it is made by Woods, equal to the 7200RD) rear finish mower behind a JD2520. I also have a 62D MMM for this machine, and I like the rear mower better. It delivers a better cut and is easier to get close to/under trees with. Only problem is that it is HEAVY (about 675 lbs) and is a little bit of a handful for the tractor.

I have very hilly, rough property with lots of trees, so it's hard to gauge the speed. Takes me about an hour per acre. The Frontier mower seems to be of excellent quality, except for the pain, which started peeling rather quickly.

Like the above poster I have a Fronter (Woods) 72" rear discharge. Before that I used belly mowers. Having used both here are my thoughts, some are repeats of others.
Pros
lower cost to buy, for the most part
Quick on and off as compared to belly
Follows ground better
Can raise higher than belly, for weeds and obsticles.
Servicing is easier
Cons
Less manuverable for getting around stuff
Somewhat more dangerous because it's on the back swinging around in turns
More weight (compaction on yard) Besides the mower deck you should have weight on the front to counter balance the mower
Not only do the front tires push down the grass but the back as well so you can have more streaking. But streaking is subject to a number of other factors besides the tires.

You also should compare by mowing the difference in discharge between a rear and side. They are different. The rear has a clumped look but I think its safer to use. The side will blow it out just like a belly.

The rear mower works well for me because we take it on and off a lot and only mow big open areas.

Hope I helped

I have a Bush Hog RDTH72 rear discharge finish mower. It does a real good job. I find the faster you go the, the worse the cut. I am out in the sun, getting some color and maybe sipping a beer. Why rush that?
