The model I'm looking at is the Farm King/Buhler Y650R and I was quoted $2300 + 13% taxes. Don't forget I'm in Canada and even though it's likely made in Canada, we always pay more than you folks down south of the border. Make sense doesn't it . Just another way we get screwed by our own Gov't.

The 1060R has been great for my needs. No problems with the mower just finding a good set of backup blades. was just in my tractor folder and pulled out the bill of sale for the mower 2/23 I will have had it two years. Paid 550.00 CL. I gave him 50 of it to bring it to me. That was all the dealer was going to give him for it on trade in so that was what he let me have it for. What a Guy. And the only thing I had to replace was the drive belt before it did break I tried to deal with them also and I'm betting he bought a different brand. Should have seen the lip go up when they seen what I used it with

I've got a 60" Sitrex. I've had it for 5 years with no problems. Only cost me $1100. I haven't even had to adjust the belt yet. I don't see why it won't last me another 10yrs anyway. My yard is about 2.5 acres.

I do not see how a rear clumps worse than a side discharge. Maybe it because mine has chains like a bush hog but my side discharge King Kutter left major clumps. The Caroni rear discharge leaves a much nicer cut.
One other advantage to a 3 point mower is if you buy a new tractor it will fit up unlike a MMM that is special to certain models and brands.
