Ain't gonna happen. The engine don't have enough gonads to overcome the wind resistance at that speed.

I have been over 200 in a vehicle with a six cylinder, and that one has a v-8 with a lot more cubes and close to the same aerodynamics.
My Kawasaki 900 Z-1 would do 60mph in first gear also, back when the speed limits were dropped to 55, so shifting to second would get you a ticket.

My 2013 VW Passat was the best driving car I’ve ever owned and I had no mechanical issues. For a compact vehicle, check out the Nissan Sentra.

The options are getting very thin, that's I rushed to get a 2024 civic. Other then the muscle car type like the Camaro or the mustang the other option would be, Subaru WRX. In the luxury sedan category there is the Cadillac Blackwing, Acura integra and the BMW's.

Fastest I ever went was 200 clicks in a Ferrari 350 GT Berlinetta Boxer V12 when I was a kid at night on I71 south by the Ford Foundry in Brookpark, Ohio and that was scary. You hit anything at that speed on a public highway like a discarded pop can, you are a goner.

My RS's clock goes to 160 and I'm not crazy enough to explore that.

Mice car however. Never make it down our dirt road, too low, like the RS is. The RS stays in the drive now, until the road is graded.

My sister still drives a stick. In fact, she goes way, way, way out of her way to buy cars that offer stick shift. We just picked up a Mini-Cooper S model with a stick as a buy, fix, sell project. It has BMW disease, but we'll fix it.

Always heard they had many issues as they aged. In mu view they are ughly as well. Look like a puckered up blowfish.

Hard to find a manual today in a car. We live in an PRNDL society.

One good thing about a manual is, they really save on brake replacements unlike a slush box where the tranny is pushing the vehicle as you slow down. I have almost 100 grand on my RS and the pads are about 1/2 gone. 4 piston Brembo's.

Electronically limited to 205mph.
When it was first being tested on track for 24 hours it averaged 205mph but had peaks of 212-214mph.

We are no longer a stick shift family. My wife insisted on a stick shift car for her last vehicle. We got her a Jeep Renegade, good little car. Alas, she got in a wreck and totalled it a couple of years ago. She was looking for a mid sized SUV to replace it. Not many late model choices in that genre of car in manual any more.

You can still get a manual in the Nissan Versa. Bronco can still be had with a manual if you stretch "hatchback" to include SUV.

GR Corolla is a hatch, but not necessarily practical or cheap.

Most of my vehicles in my teens were straight drives, pinto, vega. Traded an old datsun truck in for an almost new 87 jeep commanche. Loved that 2wd, 4 cyl 4 speed truck. I learned how to replace the clutch in it, did it twice I think it was in the 200k miles I owned it, then gave it to my son.

Goldwing as a manual of course. Its nice once in a while to use a manual except in stop and go traffic.

My kioti has the manual transmission. I didn't trust the HST of the kioti when I got it. Since then my JD F1445 has it and I sure like it. If... I were to change tractors I would strongly consider a hst. Hopefully no time soon. Got more toys... err tools to consider before then.

Back in the 60's, it was common to pull the auto out and put a 3 speed manual in. Especially if was a GM 2 spd. 4 spd's were rare and money was an issue.

Maybe history will repeat itself and that trend will return?

I should update my list to include Nissan Versa as the base model is available with a manual. Camaro is not made anymore and Mustang manual is only available in the $50K GT which is a little more than I want to spend. I drove a Subaru WRX a few years ago and felt it was a little too noisy and harsh riding for a daily driver. I should check out the Toyoya/Subaru GR86 but it doesn't get that good of mpg and requires premium to boot. There's Hyundai Elantra N but its 19", 35 series tires would be horrible on the rough roads around here and 23 mpg combined is pretty low.

That's an 05. Silver was a one year colour. 06 had the dark gray.
Cars are identical otherwise.
This one appears to be a 4 option model.
Wheels.
Stripes.
Painted brake calipers.
I think I can make out the sub woofer between the seats for the optional stereo upgrade.

Goldwing as a manual of course.

My brother has been a Goldwing rider for years - owned several of them. Puts about 150,000 miles on one and then trades it in for a new one. Last year he decided it was time for another new one...had to go all the way to Texas from where he lives in Kansas because that dealership in Texas had the only Goldwing within 500 miles that had a manual transmission. All of them are automatic now! I had no idea motorcycles were even available with an automatic!

Yep 7-speed dual clutch, automatic mode or paddle shift.
