I was trenching a wire this morning with my sub-soiler, it seemed everything was going fine. This is the second time performing this delicate  operation, and the fist time was a peach. Well, this wire needed to run about 15 feet from a locust tree, and my little 32 hp Kubota was pulling it through those roots fine, just like cutting butter. Until I hit the big one. Crap, now what?

What I found was if you do a run with the sub-soiler first without the wire and then go back the way you started made for a much easier day
Don't ask how I know and you now should know also
Get it straightened, reinforced and it will be fine
Good diggin'
