The BX's in Europe have mirrors as an option. It would be nice if Kubota offered that option for North America. I thought I would start this thread and see how much interest there is. If it looks like there is some interest in mirrors for the BX I was going to email the link to this thread to Kubota to see if they could offer this option in the US. I know a lot of the options for the European tractors are made in Georgia. I don't know if they would have the mirrors in Georgia or not. I know a few of you guys have added mirrors already to your BX.

Here is a video of a BX with mirrors.

They do much more road driving in Europe. The mirror may be a requirement.

Could someone move this to Kubota owning/ operating?

Been mirrors on tractors for years, my 1971 MF had mirrors and it was required to get plates for road use.

I wish my tractor had a horn, just to get someone attention or get the dog to move.

Strange that the requirements are so low, what lights are required?
Do you have 40, 50 or 60km/h tractors?

I added a couple of 6" convex mirrors to the upright posts of my FEL frame. LOve em! Not only for driving on the road, but mainly so I can glance and them when moving back and forth to make sure nobody or the dog has come too close to the machine. Sure saves a lot of neck-twisting!

Is the mirror for traffic or watching the implement behind you?

I prefer the Euro B Mirrors;). Come on Kubota, get on this!! Id be all over these if the price was right.

Awesome looking little tractor in the B1820

Kubota has a ton of options offered in foreign markets. Another one I wish they offered was a deluxe, suspension, high back seat. NA seats are crap for any amount of time on the tractor IMHO.

How about a BX with Cab?

The some larger ag tractors are available with high speed travel gears 50kph+. Many of them are the Made in Europe ones. You dont see near as much road travel here as opposed to europe for tractors. Things like high speed highway snow plowing with ag tractors doesnt happen here in my province.

Now that Fendt seems to be gaining market share with their premium tractors, expect more brands to offer better suspension, braking and high speed on their tractors.

Fastracs are basically non-existant here. Ive yet to see one in the flesh.

I ordered (should be ready any day now also) mine with a cab and side mirrors, I need them especially with the cab.

Now on the seat, I hope my seat is great, otherwise I should have ordered a better seat, but from what I read the seat is passible (to good) form most, I just hope so. I have not tried one of the air ride seats ever so I will most likely love my Kubota seat, especially compared to my craftsman one that I do hate.

BUT an optional seat would have been really nice, how come we do not have their options here?? It has to be some middleman like usual (speculatiion).

BX2370-1 on way

I added mirrors to my BX22, attached to the FEL mounts. I used standard golf cart mirrors mounted with shackles, which I threaded for a retaining bolt. For the right side, I needed a bracket due to the configuration of the FEL mount and FEL lever. No drilling required.
